Entry fees

A one-off fee based on your age when you join and your tier. Members under 50 join free. Entry fees can be paid in three equal annual instalments, or in quarterly or monthly instalments over three years. If a member dies before the entry fee is fully paid, the outstanding amount is payable from the estate to qualify for the benefit.

Annual premiums

Payable in full each year, or in 12 equal monthly instalments. Premiums are based on your age and chosen tier. Gallipoli Funeral Fund may vary premiums based on actuarial data, with a minimum of 30 days' notice and no more than once in any 12-month period (excluding routine CPI rounding).

Flexible payments

Pay your premium monthly or annually. Spread your entry fee over up to three years. Direct debit, bank transfer and card are accepted.

30-day cooling-off

Change your mind within 30 days and receive a full refund of every amount you have paid, no questions asked.

Double Facility benefit

Two people, one membership. A benefit is paid on each death, and the annual premium halves after the first death.

Important things to understand

Your benefit is reviewed and increased over time to keep pace with rising funeral costs, but increases are set by the Board rather than an automatic formula, so between reviews actual funeral costs may still exceed your chosen tier and your family is responsible for any shortfall (gap risk). Applicants who do not truthfully declare they are free of a terminal illness are treated as being in the highest entry-fee band. Always read the Product Disclosure Statement and Target Market Determination before applying.
