Is this insurance?
No. Gallipoli Funeral Fund is a not-for-profit funeral expense facility. Members contribute, and a fixed cash benefit is paid to the person you nominate.
Who can join?
Australian citizens and permanent residents aged 18 and over. There is no medical exam. You answer one honest health question.
Can I cover my spouse or a parent?
Yes. A Double Facility covers you and one other person on one membership. A benefit is paid for each person.
What if I change my mind?
You have 30 days to cancel for a full refund. If you stop paying later, your entry fee is refunded; premiums already paid are not.
How does my family claim?
Your nominated beneficiary contacts us. The benefit is normally paid within 48 hours of us receiving the required documents, in time for an Islamic burial.
